Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist

Druid Tribal Update : Lorwyn Eclipsed

Update (Lorwyn Eclipsed) :

With the release of Lorwyn Eclipsed, Insect Tribal is getting an upgrade!

In: Syr Konrad, the Grim , Out: World Shaper (bonus upgrade)

I believe Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist can finally find where he belongs, and that place is our Druid Tribal build. First of all, it is a place for all Druids.  Moreover, he has high synergy with our build, as on ETB we mill four cards and then we may put a creature or land card from among the milled cards on top of our library. The latter, also triggers Teval, the Balanced Scale.  Last, but not least, by paying , and discarding a Land, we create a 1/1 black and green Worm creature token for each land card in our graveyard at instant speed, which can provide us a Worm army along with our self-mill strategy.  A top pick for our build.

Oversold Cemetery is a great card too, but gets cut because it needs more setup and is worse both in early game and in late game.

Chomping Changeling is one of the best cards for every Tribal build as it combines artifact/enchantment removal on ETB with Tribal synergy. It has even higher synergy with our build as we have strong graveyard recursion strategy and may recur it many times for repeatable removal. A must-have card for our Druid Tribal build!

Druid Lyrist gets cut because the tap in the activation cost, makes it slow, as we need to wait until our next turn to be able to activate it.

Syr Konrad, the Grim works great with our strong graveyard recursion strategy and can drain our opponents to the point where he can be a secret finisher. Great pick for our Druid Tribal.

World Shaper is a great card too, but we had to cut something and at this point every drop is a hard choice. In our case we preferred a drain engine that may act as a finisher (because we are low on finishers) over a mass land recursion effect.

Now you can buy the upgrade cards with a click of a button!
