With the release of Edge of Eternities, Halfling Food Tribal is getting an upgrade!
In: Haliya, Guided by Light , Out: Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant
Haliya, Guided by Light has great synergy with our Halfling Food Tribal as she can be a draw engine just by sacrificing a Food artifact in our turn (she has “At the beginning of your end step, draw a card if you’ve gained 3 or more life this turn”). In addition whenever Haliya or another creature or artifact we control enters, we gain 1 life. Moreover, we can even cast her for the Warp cost at early game to gain cheap draw early and cast her from exile on a later turn. A great pick for our deck!
I feel really bad for cutting poor old Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant, but he’s more of a niche and great flavor card than an optimal choice for our build.
