With the release of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ape Tribal is getting an upgrade!

In: Fangren Marauder , Out: Ancient Silverback (bonus upgrade)
Elephant-Mandrill has high synergy with our Ape Tribal. On ETB each player creates a food token which resembles the first ability of Kibo, Uktabi Prince and has great synergy with its other abilities and our overall strong artifact removal strategy. Moreover, it gets a +1/+1 buff until end of turn for each artifact our opponents control which can easily go wild with our build and all the bananas we share. A top pick for our Ape Tribal.
Monkey Cage gets cut because it is quite expensive for what it offers as many times our opponents may play arround it and offer us minimum value.
Flopsie, Bumi’s Buddy is quite an interesting card for Ape Tribal. Although it stats seem a bit poor for its mana cost, its abilities have great synergy with our build. On ETB we out a +1/+1 counter on each creature we control which is nice since our Ape Tribal is build around +1/+1 counters too. In addition, each creature we control with power 4 or greater can’t be blocked by more than one creature, which greatly helps our combat plan.
Gorilla Berserkers gets cut because it is quite fragile and scores lower in synergy with our build.
Fangren Marauder can really shine in our Ape Tribal as Kibo, Uktabi Prince shares bananas to all players and we can get an absurd amount of life either if our opponents use them, or if we remove them by force. Great synergy with our bananas and our artifact removal strategy!
Ancient Silverback gets cut because it has high cmc, but not so high impact in play (compared to that cost).
