Firdoch Core seems an average 3 cmc mana rock at first glance, but Tribal synergy makes it a powerful tool in the right deck. In our Bear Tribal, since it counts as a Bear, on ETB it triggers Ayula, Queen Among Bears, so it is a potential removal too. A top inclusion to our Bear Tribal.
Chomping Changeling is one of the best cards for every Tribal build as it combines artifact/enchantment removal on ETB with Tribal synergy. On our Bear Tribal, it also triggers Ayula, Queen Among Bears so it offers creature removal too. A must-have card for our build!
Flaxen Intruder is quite expensive as an adventure and somewhat inconsistent as a removal, so it gets cut.
Springleaf Parade is one of the best cards for Tribal builds that care about tokens, as it combines creature token creation (that are of every creature type) on ETB with mana ramp. In our Bear Tribal, it can be explosive with Ayula, Queen Among Bears triggering its ability X times. A top card for our build!
Drover Grizzly gets cut because we have more consistent cards to give our Bears Trample and we had to make some cuts.
Lifecraft Engine seems an average 3 cmc Tribal anthem at first glance, but Tribal synergy makes it a powerful tool in the right deck. In our Bear Tribal, since it counts as a Bear, on ETB it triggers Ayula, Queen Among Bears, so it is a potential removal too (and with good stats for its cmc). A great inclusion to our Bear Tribal.
Dragon-Scarred Bear gets cut because it is a worse option if played on curve and is less consistent overall.
Casal, Lurkwood Pathfinder is a great and flavorful addition to our Bear Tribal. It help us ramp on ETB and by transforming her into an Owlbear for , she buffs our Legendary creatures with +2/+2 and Trample until end of turn. She has Vigilance on both forms and transforms back at the beginning of our upkeep, so we also have a 6/6 blocker until our next turn.
Guardian Gladewalker counts as a Bear and help us by putting a +1/+1 counter on target creature on ETB. A great addition to our Bear Tribal.
Ulvenwald Bear gets cut because it does nothing if played on curve and is less consistent overall.
Drannith Ruins by paying let us put two +1/+1 counters on target non-Human creature that entered the battlefield this turn. A great pick for any non-Human +1/+1 counters build that require little/no color fixing, like our Bear Tribal.
