Update (Final Fantasy Commander) :
With the release of Final Fantasy Commander, Bird Tribal is getting an upgrade!
In: Rinoa, Angel Wing , Out: Kangee’s Lieutenant
In: Chocobo Camp , Out: Forest
Rinoa, Angel Wing is not a Bird, but has great synergy with our build and Choco, Seeker of Paradise. She acts as a Flying Lord on our turn, providing our Flyers with +1/+1 and Vigilance at the beggining of combat. Vigilance is quite important in our build, as with our commander we need to be attacking to maximize its value and that often leaves us open to opponent attacks. Moreover, Rinoa protects our attackers by reccuring one of them (if they die) into the battlefild tapped with a Flying counter in it. That synergizes well with our commander and other chocobos that have no Flying, but recursion by itself is great even for our flyers. A great card for our Bird Tribal.
Kangee’s Lieutenant is a good option for our Bird Tribal too, but gets cut because Rinoa, Angel Wing has greater synergy with our build.
Chocobo Camp is a Land with Bird Tribal synergy. It can be used to produce 
and when we next cast a Bird creature spell this turn, it enters with an additional +1/+1 counter on it. In addition, by paying 
,
we create a 2/2 green Bird creature token with “Whenever a land you control enters, this token gets +1/+0 until end of turn”. A must-have inclusion for our build.
