Tectonic Split

Desert Plant Tribal Update : Avatar: The Last Airbender

Update : Edge of Eternities

With the release of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Desert Plant Tribal is getting an upgrade!

In: Planetary Annihilation , Out: Descend upon the Sinful (Bonus upgrade)

Tectonic Split offer us mass Land Sacrifice, while at the same time being Hexproof and tripling Land mana production, minimizes the risk. Great synergy with our Desert Plant Tribal.

Tato Farmer gets cut because it we needed space for Tectonic Split and we had too many 3 drops, although both are great ramp cards for our build.

Elemental Teachings is a great addition to our Desert Plant Tribal as it has high synergy with our Deserts and Yuma, Proud Protector . It costs a lot, but if played early, it guarantee us that we will be able to cast Yuma next turn, as he costs less to cast for each Land in our graveyard. Moreover, if we play it later with Yuma on the battlefield, we can pick 4 Deserts and that also grant us 2 Plant Warriors from Yuma. Great value either way!

Omnivorous Flytrap gets cut because it has less synergy with our build, although it is also a great card.

Planetary Annihilation is a mass removal with Land sacrifice synergy, so it has great synergy with our Desert Plant Tribal. With Yuma, Proud Protector on the board, we get the triggers of Lands entering our graveyard even if he dies. So after the wipe we create the Plant Warriors to recover our board. Cool synergy!

Descend upon the Sinful gets cut because it has less synergy with our build, although it is also a great card.

Now you can buy the upgrade cards with a click of a button!
