With the release of Modern Horizons 3, Dinosaur Tribal is getting an upgrade!
In: Sawhorn Nemesis , Out: Monster Manual
Sawhorn Nemesis is a great addition to our Dinosaur Tribal as it is a damage doubler (to target player) and it greatly synergizes with our commander Gishath, Sun’s Avatar as doubling his damage doubles the effectiveness of his ramp ability which is insane. Moreover, with our buffy dinosaurs and our big tramplers, doubling their damage can lead to ground shaking, terrifying and devastating blows which is a very flavorful way to play and greatly fits Dinosaur Tribal. It makes most of our creatures finishers and doubles the effectiveness of the ones that were already considered finishers making our build more consistent.
Monster Manual is a great card but we needed to make a cut and our ramp pack seemed to be the category that one cut would’t make a big difference.
